Remayne is not a therapist, counselor, or mental health provider. If you are in crisis, contact 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or text HOME to 741741.

If you may harm yourself or someone else, or if you need urgent care, call emergency services immediately.

1. Service Description

Remayne is a voice-first grief support application that preserves the identity of loved ones as a continuing presence using memory, voice, and first-person response systems.

Remayne is not therapy. It is not a crisis service. It is not a replacement for the deceased. It is a software service designed to help preserve relational continuity through AI-assisted interaction.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Remayne.
  • You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • You must have legal authority to create a preserved identity, whether as next-of-kin, estate executor, or as the person themselves in a valid pre-planning scenario.

3. Consent and Authorization

You are responsible for ensuring that any memories, recordings, and likenesses you submit are lawfully provided to Remayne. If you do not have authority to contribute or authorize those materials, do not upload them.

Pre-planning
A living individual may authorize creation of their own preserved identity in advance.
Post-loss creation
A deceased person's preserved identity may be created only by someone with written legal authority, such as next-of-kin or the estate executor.
Voice cloning
Voice cloning of a deceased person requires written authorization from legal next-of-kin or the estate executor before the voice is used in the service.

4. User Content and Ownership

Memories, recordings, identity data, and other materials you submit remain your property or the property of the person or estate that lawfully controls them.

You grant Aurandel a limited license to host, process, transform, store, retrieve, and display that content solely to provide, secure, and improve Remayne for the authorized preserved identity. Aurandel does not acquire ownership of your memories or preserved identity content.

5. Aurandel Technology and Intellectual Property

Aurandel owns the service software, trademarks, interfaces, and underlying patent-pending technology used to provide identity preservation through Remayne.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Aurandel's technology to you. They only grant the limited rights needed for you to access and use the service.

6. Prohibited Uses

  • Create or attempt to create a preserved identity without proper authorization.
  • Use Remayne to harass, deceive, defraud, or manipulate another person.
  • Misrepresent a preserved identity as the actual living person.
  • Use the service for unlawful activity or to violate privacy, publicity, estate, or biometric rights.
  • Attempt to extract source code, interfere with security controls, or disrupt the service.

7. Safety, Dependency, and Crisis Limits

Remayne includes safety systems and may monitor for signs of unhealthy dependency, crisis language, or harmful use patterns. If we detect risk, we may slow usage, recommend professional support, or limit access to protect the user.

Remayne is not a therapist, counselor, or mental health provider. It does not provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or emergency intervention.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Remayne responses are generated by AI informed by preserved memories, voice settings, and identity data. Responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or emotionally difficult. They may not perfectly reflect the views, language, or intent of the deceased person.

You remain responsible for your decisions, including whether to rely on or act on information generated by the service.

9. Service Changes and Availability

We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Remayne at any time. Availability depends on internet access, third-party providers, infrastructure, and compliance review.

10. Termination and Deletion

  • You may stop using Remayne at any time.
  • You may request deletion of preserved identity data at any time.
  • Aurandel will complete deletion from active systems within 90 days of a valid deletion request, except where longer retention is required by law or for security purposes.
  • Aurandel requires service providers to process data only for service delivery and not retain preserved identity content after processing is complete, except where legally required.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Remayne is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Aurandel disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurandel is not liable for emotional responses to AI-generated content, for actions taken based on preserved identity responses, or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
